Krystle Chai, the owner of MK Events Hawai`i, was raised on Hawai`i Island. She graduated from Honoka’a High School, earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management from UH Hilo, and went on to receive a master's degree in Human Resource Management from UH Manoa. With a diverse background in business, Krystle has worked in various roles, including administration, accounting, human resources, safety, and business management.

A dedicated community member, Krystle actively supports organizations like the Hawai`i Island Chamber of Commerce, Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Alzheimer's Association, and the American Cancer Society. She also serves as the District Director for the Business Fraternity at UH Hilo.

Throughout her college and professional career, Krystle has planned and coordinated a wide range of corporate events, community events, fundraisers, and networking events, showcasing her true passion for event planning. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, watching movies, and spending quality moments with her children.
